This service consists of: 24hr anti-virus emergency response service Prosecure will immediately respond to virus attacks by visiting your office, identifying and removing the virus; cleaning and restoring your system and ensuring that your system is protected against further attacks. Regular remote scanning Prosecure will regularly conduct a remote scan of your network. This means we will connect to your computer over the Internet from our office and ask it a series of questions. From the replies, we create a report explaining the view of your system from the Internet. This is what a hacker viewing your system would see. We constantly monitor security sources for recent weaknesses in the software that your computer uses and use remote scanning to ensure your system is not vulnerable to attack. Security updates from Microsoft Most small business rely heavily on Microsoft software with operating systems such as Windows NT/98 and general software such as Microsoft Office, Outlook and Internet Explorer being used uniformly across the board. It is of obvious importance to keep this software up to date and protected against new security holes that appear on a regular basis. We constantly monitor for new updates and notify all our clients on their release. Our email notification links directly to the patches available for download from our web site. Any client that does not install these patches can have them installed on our next scheduled site visit. On-site status monitoring Prosecure will visit your site every 10-12 weeks to check the status of your network security. All Microsoft software will be checked and if necessary updated with relevant security patches. We will check that Anti-virus software is installed on every machine and is automatically and regularly updating. Log files from the server will be analysed for evidence of possible intrusion attempts or other malicious action.
